Our Mission Statement
Our aim at J Shalev Diamonds is to make your vision come to life by creating the finest unique and contemporary jewellery. We are passionate about jewellery and can provide the expertise to back this up. To this end we always provide the highest level of professional service.
We are a member of the London Diamond Bourse and World Federation of Diamond Bourses and are therefore bound by the rules and regulations of these institutions and by the British Jewellery Association.
All diamonds that we supply are Conflict Free Diamonds and adhere to The Kimberley Process. They have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict, in compliance with United Nations Resolutions.
J Shalev Diamonds Policy on Conflict Diamonds
Here at J Shalev Diamonds we have a zero-tolerance policy toward conflict diamonds. The Kimberley Process tracks diamonds from mine to market and all diamond exports are policed by the Diamond industry, the United Nations, governments, and non-governmental organizations to prevent the trade of illegal diamonds.
J Shalev Diamonds only purchase diamonds through the most respected suppliers who adhere to and enforce the standards established by the Kimberley Process so that we are able to warrant to you that any diamond purchases you make through J Shalev Diamonds are conflict free.
Terms of Service and Purchase Policy
Before beginning any work on bespoke jewellery a deposit of 50% is required to secure the diamond of your choice. The balance must be paid on completion of your order. We accept banker’s draft, cheque and will soon be accepting debit/credit card payments.
Where enquiries are made for bespoke designs a guide price will be given. If you require our designer to produce drawings of your item an initial charge will be made for those drawings. This will then be deducted from the deposit.
On acceptance of the final design by you we will email our confirmation of the design details, the final price and an estimated date of completion, together with a request for a 50% deposit. On receipt of the deposit work will commence on the Jewellery.
Once completed you must pay us the full price of your J Shalev Diamonds jewellery order before we will send any part of it.
Designs and Intellectual Property Rights
Where we send to you any designs, sketches, drawings, CAD drawings or images (the “Drawings”) for your approval, or seeking your comments on them, we expressly reserve all our intellectual property rights in the copyright and design rights of the Drawings. The Drawings are not to be used by you or any other third person.
You may not copy, modify, publish, transmit, transfer, reproduce, create, derivative works or sell, distribute, display, create an article from, or in any way exploit any of the Drawings, or allow any third person to do the same.
You expressly recognise that we will suffer financial loss if you breach, or enable a third party to breach, our design rights or copyright in the Drawings.
Refunds
Bespoke jewellery will be completed within 14 – 28 working days from receipt of the deposit.
Please note that all items are made to order and we are unable to offer any refunds. However, we are committed to the best customer service and make only quality products. If, for any reason, you are not entirely satisfied with your bespoke piece of jewellery please contact us and we will endeavour to make any necessary changes or adjustments to ensure your complete satisfaction. Please ensure no damage is caused to the jewellery whilst in your care.
